The UN Office for the coordination of humanitarian affairs (OCHA) said in its latest flash update that 28 children have died of malnutrition and dehydration in Gaza as of April 1.

The figures are attributed to Gaza’s Health Ministry, the Guardian reported.  

“In the north, the Nutrition Cluster estimates that more than 50,000 children under five are acutely malnourished,” said the OCHA’s agency in the Palestinian territories in a social media post.
